STARE DRAWSKO (former name Drahin) is famous for its XIV century castle ruins, overlooking Drawsko and Żerdno lakes.
The castle was erected by the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem in 1360. In 1407-1668 it was the seat of Polish Starosty near the busy salt route leading to Kołobrzeg. After 1668 under the Brandenburgians ruling it became the Prussian watchtower. Burnt during the seven years` war (1756-1763) and not restored, fell into disrepai.
There is also a Neo-Gothic church worth seeing in the village.
